Roberts Residential Remodeling has been the Twin Cities home remodeling leader for over 45 years. Our experienced design and build team takes pride in listening to and collaborating with homeowners to create stunning living spaces that meet their design, space and budget goals.  We are a true design and build firm  with a complete selection center and design office. We are involved in all phases of construction from shingles to sod. Roberts’ Residential Remodeling, Inc. has one of the only in-house millwork shops in the Minneapolis – St. Paul metro area. Our craftsmen create elegant, architecturally correct and functional custom cabinetry of all types. Roberts’ Residential Remodeling, Inc. team members are all employees of the company. We are not a “pickup truck” contractor who is here today and gone tomorrow. We are able to maintain quality, control, timeliness, and completion of all projects we are involved in. Having employees is especially important when maintaining a schedule. We are not subject to a “subcontractor’s schedule”. We decide when we begin and complete a project. We are proud to have received the Achievement in Consumer Excellence (ACE) Award every year from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

Chris Baumann, Owner and President

Chris brings a lifetime of hands‑on craftsmanship and design expertise to his role as Owner and President of Roberts’ Residential Remodeling. He began his career in the construction trades as a framer and finish carpenter, building the structural and detail‑oriented foundation that still guides his work today. From there, he moved into cabinetry, furniture making and kitchen design, mastering precision joinery, custom builds, and the kind of fine craftsmanship Roberts’ Residential Remodeling is known for.

Chris then stepped into project management and sales and eventually assumed general management responsibilities at Roberts’.  Chris now leads operations, guides the production team, manages client relationships, and ensures that every project meets the company’s standards for quality and professionalism. Chris works closely with every client to build the home remodeling projects they dream of.
