Cabinet shop employees are responsible for the construction and finishing of custom cabinets and millwork for residential remodeling projects.
Qualifications
1 year experience, or recent graduate from construction program.
Experience with any or all bench-build cabinetry and millwork skills, including:
- Sliding table saw
- Dado saw
- Table saw
- Cutoff saw
- Facing table
- Router / router table
- Molder planer
- Pocket boring machine
- Hinge boring machine
- Wide belt sander
- Finishing / spray booth
- Computer drafting
Responsibilities
Duties include construction and finishing of custom cabinets and millwork for residential remodeling projects. May include use of various cabinet-making tools, including saws, routers, planers, and sanders and may include spray booth and computer drafting activities.
