We’re proud to have two separate homes included in this year’s Spring Remodelers’ Showcase. Both projects added substantial space to the original homes, while maintaining the style of the homes and fitting comfortably into their neighborhoods.

Home 1: Orono Craftsmen Bungalow On The Lake
Location: 3520 North Shore Drive, Orono (R9)
Lake home meets bungalow/Craftsmen-style. This was a challenging build due to lot size. We built up and out adding approx. 1,100 square feet to existing. This build included a two-car garage, master suite/bath and two additional children’s bedrooms with bath. We invited the lake in using additional windows on south side and opening up the floor plan. This build complete with custom designed/built kitchen by our team at Roberts. Painted millworks for that extra lake effect. Wrapped it all up with a smart looking maintenance-free exterior.
Home 2: Major Addition In St. Louis Park
Location: 9251 W. 22nd Lane, St. Louis Park (R49)
We took a standard-sized home and doubled the space! Complete with a new great room, hearth room, dining room and kitchen. This kitchen was designed and built with a large family in mind. All the millworks were custom built in our shop. We also added a spacious two-car garage with oversized mud room. To complete the project, we also included a humble yet efficient master suite complete with porch for those morning coffees. We used a combination of materials to complete the exterior, enhancing the original architectural intent. This project is an example of an economical approach to space.
