For inspiration, here are the details from a couple fantastic recent projects.

Edina Kitchen

The Edina kitchen remodel included the widening & building of an arch at a narrow doorway opening between the kitchen & dining room. We installed custom rift-sawn, white oak cabinetry that was designed & built in our very own millwork shop.

A blend of quartz & hand-crafted ceramic tile make up the full height backsplash.  Quartz countertops were installed for beauty and functionality.   Over the range, we installed a spice shelf and a drywall finished hood treatment, blending it seamlessly with the ceiling soffits. We also included wood panels on the refrigerator and custom made open shelving.  To finish off the look, we re-finished the hardwood floor to match the flooring throughout the rest of the main floor.

Bloomington Remodel

For the Bloomington remodel, we added ceiling beams to open the kitchen to the family room on one side & the dining room to the front of the house. Utilizing the space under the adjacent staircase, we extended the kitchen footprint.  The stairs received an upgrade with refinished wood treads, new risers & an updated handrail. Our in-house custom millwork shop designed, built and finished the beautiful painted kitchen cabinets.  By using custom cabinets, we were able to take advantage of all available wall space & maximize storage. The addition of a modest snack counter, made of quartz to match the main countertops, provides a place for casual eating while adding counter space.  The custom tile backsplash over the range gives this kitchen a decorative and textural focal point.  The new flooring throughout these common areas is a mix of a wide plank hardwood & luxury vinyl tile.
